What we build with you
- AI acceptable use policy. What staff may and may not do with AI, what data may never go into it, and which tools are approved, written so people actually read it.
- AI inventory. A living list of every AI tool and workflow, its owner, its purpose, and the data it touches.
- Risk tiers and approval. A simple process for approving a new AI tool or use, with more scrutiny for anything touching customer data or making decisions about people.
- Human oversight rules. Where a person must review AI output before it goes to a customer or drives a decision.
- Vendor review checklist. The questions to ask any AI vendor about training, retention, location, security and contract terms.
- AI incident response. What to do when an AI system leaks data, gives harmful answers, or is manipulated, added to your existing incident plan.
- Staff training. A practical session on using AI safely, with the examples your people will actually run into.
- Board and leadership briefing. A plain summary of your AI risk position and decisions for owners, boards or councils.
Aligned to recognized frameworks
The program is structured around the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, so it speaks the language examiners and auditors use. For organizations that want to go further, it maps to ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for AI management systems, as preparation for certification.
Ongoing support
Policies go stale quickly in AI. Governance can continue as part of our Fractional Chief AI Officer service: keeping the inventory current, reviewing new tools, updating policies as laws change, and an annual reassessment.
