Cookie Policy
Effective Date: June 23, 2026
Last Updated: June 23, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Larry Collett Consulting Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://larrycollett.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. “Similar technologies” include web beacons, pixels, tags, and local storage that perform comparable functions. In this Policy we refer to all of these as “cookies.”
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies to operate and secure the Site, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve your experience. Some cookies are set by us and some are set by third-party service providers acting on our behalf.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as submitting a form or setting privacy preferences.
- Performance and analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting information such as pages visited and time on site, so we can measure and improve performance.
- Functional cookies. Enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your choices.
- Advertising and targeting cookies. May be set to build a profile of your interests and show relevant content or measure campaign effectiveness, where applicable.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We use third-party services that set their own cookies. In particular, we use Google Analytics to help us understand Site usage; Google may set cookies and process data in accordance with its own policies. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the tools Google provides. We do not control cookies set by third parties, and their use is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
5. How Long Cookies Last
Cookies may be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Retention periods vary by cookie and provider.
6. Managing and Disabling Cookies
Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings. If you block or delete cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly. To manage cookies, consult your browser’s help documentation. You can also opt out of certain analytics and advertising cookies through the providers’ own opt-out tools and industry choice pages.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We will update this Policy if that changes.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
