This Cookie Policy lists the cookies and similar technologies used on https://larrycollett.com (the “Site”), operated by Larry Collett Consulting Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”), what each one is for, and how to control them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others help the owner understand how the site is used. Cookies set by our own domain are “first-party”; cookies set by another company’s service embedded on a page are “third-party.”

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary

Used only on the client portal and the Chief AI Officer page, and only after you sign in. They keep you signed in and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.

  • lccg_session (first-party): keeps an invited client signed in to the client portal. Secure, HttpOnly, sent only to /reports/. Expires after 12 hours.
  • cao (first-party): remembers that you entered the access code for the Chief AI Officer page. Secure, HttpOnly, sent only to that page. Deleted when you close your browser.

Analytics

Used on public pages only. They are never set on the client portal, its sign-in page, or the Chief AI Officer page.

  • _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics): count visits and tell one visit from the next. Up to 2 years.
  • _clck and _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): link page views into a session so we can see how pages are used. _clck lasts up to 1 year; _clsk lasts 1 day. Clarity may also set cookies on its own domains.

Embedded content

Some pages embed services that set their own third-party cookies when they load, under their own policies:

  • YouTube, on pages with embedded videos.
  • Google Maps, on the Contact page.
  • Reclaim.ai, on the Schedule a Meeting page.

Bot protection

Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person. It does not set cookies on our domain; it evaluates browser and device signals when a form loads.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or affiliate tracking cookies.

3. How to Control Cookies

  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop the client portal sign-in from working.
  • Google Analytics. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Embedded services. YouTube, Google, and Reclaim.ai describe their cookies and controls in their own privacy policies.

4. Changes to This Policy

When we add, remove, or change a cookie, we will update this page and its “Last Updated” date.
